The EMA team includes members of the Fermi, H.E.S.S. and CTA collaborations, with a broad scope of interests : Dark Matter searches in the gamma-ray sky, study of the inner region of the Galaxy, gamma-ray bursts and other extragalactic high-energy explosive events, galactic sources, and galactic cosmic-ray studies.
The successful applicant will join the Fermi-LAT team and focus on topics relevant to the current activities of the group : Dark Matter searches, inner region of the Galaxy, and gamma-ray bursts.
This posdoctorate will have the opportunity to join the H.E.S.S. or CTA group, should he/she wish to extend his/her research to very high energies.
The candidate should have a strong background in gamma-ray astrophysics. Past experience with Fermi-LAT data will be a significant asset.
The evaluation of the applications (a single pdf file with cover letter, CV including publications, research statement, email addresses of three people who can provide letters of recommendation) will start immediately, and will continue until the position is filled.
